The People’s Education Press, founded in 1950, is a large professional press under the Ministry of Education. It mainly engages in the research, compilation, edition, publication, and issuance of teaching materials of the elementary education level as well as other kinds of teaching materials and books at all levels. Consisting of over 20 disciplinary edition rooms on subjects such as Chinese, mathematics, foreign languages, and teaching materials research and development center. It has undertaken many successful projects with international organizations. The first head and chief editor, Ye Shengtao, is a famous writer, educator, and publisher in China.
